I am very grateful to have found New Realm Acupuncture Center, GAO and Jing. Acupuncture has helped me to overcome several health problems among which is a TMJ disorder that has bothered me for 30 years. Many of my symptoms such as headaches and jaw pain have disappeared. I also have muscle spasm on the right side of my face. The acupuncture has reduced the spasms by about 75% and with time I am now hopeful that I will be free from them.

Besides TMJ, I had been suffering from very painful sinusitis for several months that would not go away. As soon as the first needle was inserted, I felt relief. I kept coming back and as a result for the first time in my life I had no allergy symptoms this past spring.

The acupuncture has helped with joint pain, headaches, back pain and stress for me. I have been going through a very stressful time and do not know how I would have succeeded it without the help of GAO and Jing.

The Acupuncture is not painful, and best of all, requires no drug therapy. It is very very good medicine.

I came to New Realm Acupuncture Center for tendonitis of the elbow. I’ve had tendonitis of the elbow problems for several years.

I have tried ibuprofen and exercise to no avail. I have had several shots of corticosteroid injections which last only about 6 months and may have potentially damaging side effects.

After having acupuncture for a few months the pain started to decrease. (WITH NO POTENTIAL DAMAGING SIDE EFFECTS!)

I am now able to functions in a normal manner without pain, like shaking people’s hand, open a bottle of pop, hold a coffee cup, etc.

I would highly recommend New Realm Acupuncture Center to anyone with Tendonitis.

For almost eleven months, I had been having chronic pain in my Achilles tendons in my ankles. I play tennis quite often, on the varsity tennis team in high school and recreationally. The pain kept getting worse, especially during tennis season when I was playing two and three hour matches every day. I tried going to the conventional doctor, and they gave me stretches and told me to use Advil, but instead of getting better, my ankles got worse. My mom suggested that I try acupuncture, so I did. Just after a few short weeks (only 8 visits !!!), my ankles are so much better and I can go back to playing tennis again.

I had a stroke 2-7-02. My left leg and arm were partially paralyzed. With the help of Dr. Gao and his wife, my leg and arm can move better and more relaxed now. Also I couldn’t sleep well but New Realm Acupuncture has helped me sleep better. Thanks a lot for his help!

I heard about acupuncture treatments thru a friend who has been helped considerably. I am recovering from a stroke, which left me being paralyzed on the left side. I had therapy and was able to get around. I felt I needed more strength in my left arm and leg. I started treatments with New Realm Acupuncture. After a few treatments, I was walking much better, could keep my balance and had more strength in my left arm. I am very pleased to be getting the help I need and have more confidence since I am being better. I highly recommend acupuncture.

Due to my job, I am in a very high stress life. This situation came to a head in Feb. 2004, namely very high blood pressure. I was dreading beginning the traditional treatment, B.P. drugs, and looking for an alternative (New Realm Acupuncture Center). Currently, although I do have to take B.P. drugs, I have found that acupuncture helps greatly with my stress. I am happy to augment the traditional treatment with a procedure that addresses one of the root causes, rather than just the symptoms, as is the case with drug.

I had suffered with low back pain for many years. A neurologist and an orthopedic doctor diagnosed it as myofascial strain and told me to “live with it”. I saw New Realm Acupuncture at the Asian Festival, read the pamphlet, studied and read facts about acupuncture myself and had 8 weeks’ treatment. My back is much more flexible, much less pain now and I am able to lift weights and take long walks again. Acupuncture has also relieved my stress and tension, given me a balanced appetite. Meaning while, Chinese herbal therapy (moxibustion) has helped my sinus and eczema! I am so grateful!

New Realm Acupuncture Center have helped to return me to my active lifestyle. I hurt myself on a resistance machine at a local women’s health club a year ago. I could not sit, stand, lie down, bend over, run or walk without pain. I went to my family doctor and he prescribed medicine that made me feel like a zombie and still didn’t give me relief. Over the next year I tried several doctors, a massage therapist, 3 different physical therapists and a manipulative therapist. No one was able to give me relief from the pain.

My third physical therapist was the most helpful. I was getting very discouraged and depressed because I was having trouble progressing to even the most basic strengthening exercises. I asked my therapist about acupuncture and she said it was worth trying. She said the clinic had several clients who reported success with New Realm Acupuncture Center. I called New Realm Acupuncture Center the next day and began acupuncture and acupressure treatment a few days later.

New Realm Acupuncture examined me and said they thought they could help. I noticed slight improvement after the first treatment and after 8 treatments I am nearly back to normal. The acupuncture relieved my pain so I could move forward with my physical therapy and build strength in my muscles. Now I can do anything without pain.

Thanks to New Realm I am able to resume my active lifestyle where I left off a year ago!

Acupuncture was a treatment that I heard about many times. But when I got treatment my hamstring that I strained healed much faster than if would have not got treated.

I am a dedicated long distance runner, I ran cross country and track in college, and continue to run daily now, despite my busy graduate school schedule. In the past two years I’ve developed some chronic hamstring pain. When it got to the point where I felt like there was a mass of scar tissue sitting on the back of my right leg, slowing me down, I decided I’d give acupuncture a try. After my first treatment, I felt like that scar tissue had deflated! While I was still a little sore, my legs felt about 60% better! The staff was always very considerate, constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable. I’m looking forward to the rest of my treatment plan and getting back to running with no pain.

My name is Marsha Shortland and I was very skeptical about acupuncture. My friend had it done to quit smoking in New Realm Acupuncture’s office. So I decided to give it a try.

Wow, after the first section I could breath better and no longer had the hacking caught in the morning. The acupuncture has really eased the process of quitting smoking by taking away the need for nicotine hyödyllinen verkkosivu. That jittery feeling is gone!

My name is Yo Chi Yeh and I had hives for many years. I had gone to several dermatologists to find out what the problem was. They had prescribed many different types of skin creams for me to use to help cure my condition. We had spent over two hundred dollars for all kinds of creams and none of them worked. They only succeeded in giving me itchy rashes, which would increase the affected area.

I had almost given up until I went to the New Realm Acupuncture Center. I told them about my skin problem and their answer really opened my mind. They had figured out that my skin condition was an allergic reaction to certain foods specifically seafood, coffee, and mushrooms. After a period of acupuncture treatment, my skin condition has greatly improved. Before I had been self conscious about wearing short pants and certain clothes because of my skin condition, but now I feel more confidence. After moving to Columbus, I learned of its reputation of sinusitis capital of the U.S. I began to have all the symptoms (pressure, headache, fatigue). I had antibiotics, steroids and surgery without any better. Then I decided to try acupuncture.

As a physician, I am familiar with its use in the treatment of muscular skeletal conditions. But New Realm Acupuncture assured me via email that they had more than 90% success rate for sinus problems. They indicated that it might take 4 sessions to feel difference. Although I did not quite believe what they said at very begin, I still decided to give it a try.

After the first treatment there was little difference. But following the second treatment I noticed a dramatic improvement in my symptoms!

I have also referred my wife for treatment of her shoulder pain (which helped).

I now come for treatment before the sinus symptoms get too severe.

For patients with sinus problems, I highly recommend a trial of acupuncture with New Realm Acupuncture.

The Best Thing that ever happened to me

I am 57 years old with a history of physical injuries and poor health. Sinus infections have been a significant problem for the past 40 years. Despite frequent applications of irrigation, medication, and rest, I became bedridden ill four times a year.

New Realm Acupuncture Center came to my rescue on December 18, 2004. With the first treatment my sinuses cleared completely. I have not had a medication for a sinus infection through my customary worst season. Breathing improved as air passages cleared up. Sleeping was much better and now I have more energy. I have not had a day off due to illness since treatment started (I did play hooky once).

The care that I received at New Realm Acupuncture Center is proactive as well as remedial. I am able to do more things and I am even kind to my wife. I went shopping with her and had a good time. I am able to exercise five times per week and not die.

In Dec. 1999 I had my right knee replaced. My left knee was giving the same pain when I walked. Upon visiting my daughter Beth in Ohio she told me how much acupuncture was helping her back. After six sessions of acupuncture, my left knee feels better to the point where it does not hurt when I walk. My sinus seems to be clearing after years of stuffiness.

I have chronic sinusitis and environmental and food allergies. Headache and sinus infections have been habitual for me. I have taken decongestants and antihistamines on a regular basis. I just wanted to thank you, again, for helping me move beyond the intense pain I felt when I developed shingles this past summer.

I had excruciating nerve pain in my leg, and because of something I read on a website, I decided to try acupuncture.

After my second treatment with you, I felt a huge improvement in my leg. The neuropathic pain had diminished significantly. After a handful of treatments, including one with Xuguang, all of my pain disappeared completely.
